Social Media and Reputation Specialist

We are looking for an energetic, well-written and attention-detailed person to join our team. The Reputation and Social Media Specialist will be responsible for determining the online voices of clients' brands, executing social media strategies across various platforms to drive engagement and customer acquisition, and helping manage clients' reputations across the Internet.

This job is broken up into two main responsibilities:

Social Media Management

This position will manage multiple social media accounts for multiple companies. Responsible for generating content and posting to the appropriate networks, while managing replies and searching for social mentions. Develop campaigns, compile and submit monthly monitoring reports, and work closely with Account Executive(s) to address any and all clients' needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage clients' brand voices across social and digital platforms
  • Create content calendars and post on various networks for multiple clients
  • Manage clients' brands by interacting on digital platforms
  • Monitor clients' social media channels for mentions, feedback, opportunities and questions and respond in a timely manner
  • Develop social strategies in collaboration with Account Executive(s) and present to clients
  • Coordinate with Account Executive(s) on clients' needs and details
  • Integrate social media activities with other communication efforts (traditional media, PR, etc.)
  • Conceptualize campaigns and present to internal team and clients. Ability to organize campaign needs and details and relay them to team as needed
  • Track analytics and submit monthly reports to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news, trends and emerging technologies and make recommendations and adjustments as needed

Reputation Management

This position will update online directories and other information for clients, respond to customers' complaints, compile information for clients, and respond to reviews and/or work in collaboration with clients for review responses.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update and manage content across multiple directories and other online networks
  • Read and respond to reviews as needed
  • Manage inappropriate reviews and disputes as needed
  • Make necessary changes, update online menus, etc., as needed
  • Research and make recommendations to clients as new technologies emerge
  • Track competitors' social media efforts and local and national trends
  • Track and analyze reviews for key performance concerns and recommendations

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Photography knowledge and/or ability to learn
  • Driver's license and reliable mode of transportation to travel to clients' locations as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field
  • Two years of professional experience preferred




Essential Functions:

  • Lead the creation of exceptional user experiences by defining the approach and high level solution for new and/or changes to existing customer experiences
  • Translate end-user requirements and goals into experience designs, wireframes, interactive designs, graphics/branding, etc.
  • Execute world-class interface design for web, mobile, and other digital experiences – efficiently.
  • Demonstrate adherence to existing brand guidelines if they exist, or develop new guidelines and use them consistently if necessary
  • Demonstrate creativity and collaboration in problem-solving
  • Demonstrate flexibility in response to evolving opportunities and requirements
  • Create deliverables that developers can easily use, and work closely with them to ensure successful execution

Essential Skills/Qualifications required:

  • Three to five years of experience in interactive design, with a portfolio demonstrating pixel-perfect attention to detail
  • Proficiency in industry standard design software, particularly Adobe CC
  • Knowledge of front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX and responsive web design principles
