The Day-To-Day:

  • Execute world-class design for web, mobile, and other user experiences through creative problem-solving
  • Ability to clearly communicate rationale of work with a keen understanding of how to identify and execute client’s needs
  • Adhere to existing brand guidelines, if they exist, or develop new guidelines and use them consistently
  • Exhibit passion for your work and team collaboration
  • Demonstrate patience and positive attitude towards feedback and desire for self-improvement
  • Ability to work autonomously on several projects at once with varying deadlines and produce high-quality solutions
  • Demonstrate flexibility in response to evolving opportunities and requirements
  • Work closely with developers to ensure successful execution

To Qualify You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in graphic/web design-related field or a strong portfolio demonstrating discipline and understanding of design
  • High proficiency in Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX, branding, editorial and web layout, typography, and color theory
  • Knowledge of front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

liquidfish is seeking a driven, knowledgeable Search Marketing Specialist to join our team.

The Day-To-Day:

  • Ability to develop, explain, and execute complex SEO strategies for new and existing clients
  • Work with strategy, content, design, and technology teams to implement SEO strategies and ensure sites are search engine friendly
  • Aids in identifying and reporting online revenue opportunities and conversion tracking
  • Monitor and analyze effectiveness of SEO strategies and create reports on campaign performance
  • Full awareness of current and future industry trends and comfortable blogging about your opinions on them

To Qualify You'll Need:

  • Full time position
  • 2 years experience with natural search engine optimization
  • Proven "white hat" SEO techniques with other websites
  • Experience working with pay-for-performance search products such as Google AdWords, Yahoo!, and other relevant search engine advertising tools
  • Knowledge of advanced link-building tactics
  • Experience with analysis of reporting through Web analytics programs (WebSideStory, Omniture, Webtrends, Google Analytics)
  • Solid understanding of Web development technologies as they relate to SEO (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, content management systems, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written, quantitative, and presentation skills
  • Successfully juggles multiple, competing priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable managing client relationships over the phone and in person
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Google Certification a plus
