Last Friday, our entire team sat down together over a warm, delicious Thanksgiving potluck meal. Everyone brought a little something and it turned out to be a full-on feast. We recently had two new employees join our team so this was also a great time to get to know them better.
The cool thing about our agency is that aside from our actual work, we enjoy each other’s company. Everyone goes to lunch with everyone. We have game nights. We make bets on football games. We pick each other up when someone’s car has stalled. We make each other laugh with a relationship ends. We all care for each other as family would. Having that type of relationship with co-workers only makes our work stronger and I know that we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
So, with Thanksgiving less than 12 hours away, we all decided to share what we are thankful for this year.

I made a big transition this year when I moved to OKC and left my friends and life back in Nashville. I’m thankful for the opportunities OKC has given me. Moving 10 hours from home can be tough, but I was offered an incredible job at liquidfish. I’m thankful to have good co-workers who are inviting, accepting and enjoy having fun in life. (And no, I’m not just saying this because it’s on the company blog.) *** I’m thankful for my earthly treasures such as money to afford shelter and transportation. I’m thankful for my family, my boyfriend and for supportive friends that have shown me that miles apart can’t break a true bond. But, i’m also thankful for things that are not seen and are only felt: forgiveness, unconditional love, acceptance, favor, unwavering support and faith. I’m thankful for the one who orchestras it all for me – My Creator. I’m thankful that I know Him, and that He loves me even when I don’t feel lovable.

I’m thankful for being given a chance this year. I was accepted at Liquidfish with close to no real web design experience but Cody gave me a shot of which I’m grateful. I’m learning a field of design that is very valuable (and enjoyable!) and I get to work at a super cool agency with a fantastic group of people.
